On May 23, the BDB and LORE hosted an informational forum – Economic Development 201 – to share recent results of the BDB-LORE partnership.
Participants enjoyed a breakfast sponsored by LORE at the Pahokee Marina while BDB President & CEO, Kelly Smallridge, provided an economic development overview of the Glades Region. The presentation included a discussion regarding the projects that were facilitated over the past 12 months, current prospects, recent outreach missions, and several marketing efforts geared to foster economic development growth in the Glades Region.
