Palm Beach State College held its 22nd annual Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Celebration virtually Jan. 21 with keynote speaker Yvette Miley, an award-winning journalist and NBCUniversal News Group executive who was raised in Riviera Beach.
Themed “Activism, Advocacy and Allyship Toward Equality,” the event was livestreamed from the Duncan Theatre and included an awards presentation for this year’s recipients of the Martin Luther King, Jr. Leadership Award.
