The Jim Moran Institute for Global Entrepreneurship, in Florida State University’s College of Business, is accepting applications for its Spring 2021 Small Business Executive Program (SBEP) and Nonprofit Executive Program (NPEP) held in Broward and Palm Beach counties. Offered at no cost to participants, the programs are funded by The Jim Moran Foundation and Jan Moran and her late husband, Jim Moran. Application deadline is Wednesday, September 30.
The School District of Palm Beach County recently received acceptance into the Google for Education Reference District Program. The honor acknowledges that the District is doing exemplary work using Google tools, joining a select group of innovative districts and independent schools.

WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. (July 22, 2020) – Discover The Palm Beaches (DTPB), the official tourism marketing organization for Palm Beach County, Florida, has launched “The Palm Beaches Pledge” to help prevent the spread of COVID-19. As part of the destination’s unified promise, hotels, attractions, restaurants, transportation services and a variety of other businesses vow to follow CDC and government guidelines, among taking other measures. Businesses will also continue encouraging guests to follow mandated mask, social distancing and sanitation guidelines. The pledge is a public commitment to the health and wellbeing of employees, local patrons and visitors, and declares:
