Career Centers get a boost with donation from Enterprise Holdings

The Palm Beach State College Career Centers received a $4,500 donation from the Enterprise Holdings Foundation through their annual Jack Taylor Founding Values Award Program to support career development programs and recruitment events for students and alumni.

The foundation is the philanthropic arm of Enterprise Holdings, which, through its integrated global network of independent regional subsidiaries and franchises, operates the Enterprise Rent-A-Car, National Car Rental and Alamo Rent A Car brands.

“We feel that it’s important to give back to the communities that we serve,” said Teri-Anne Brennan, group talent acquisition manager for Enterprise Holdings in Florida. “We have a great relationship with Palm Beach State, and we are honored to help support their Career Centers, which provide us the opportunity to connect with students and alumni.”

Enterprise Holdings has partnered with PBSC for several years to connect students and alumni with career opportunities. In fact, Enterprise hires PBSC students and alumni annually into the company’s management training and internship programs. Last fall, the company hosted the Career Center’s open house for students, alumni and faculty at the Boca Raton campus.

“We are thrilled that during COVID-19 and as budgets are reduced, that Enterprise has selected the PBSC Career Centers to provide this generous gift,” said Sandra Jakubow, career center manager at the Boca Raton campus. “Enterprise provides excellent training opportunities for our students, and we appreciate their dedication to supporting the professional development of PBSC Panthers!”

The Jack Taylor Founding Values Award Program honors Enterprise Holdings regional subsidiaries for their commitment to integrating the company’s core values into their daily operations. The Enterprise Holdings Foundation then provides each winning subsidiary with funding to support organizations in their local communities.
